Cocoa Abrabopa Association (CAA) is governed through a representation of its members by a council and through its Annual General Meeting (AGM). This council is made up of elected regional farmer representatives and has the role to plan and identify important matters and take strategic decisions with regards to the future of the Association. The AGM is attended by all members during which trustees report on audited accounts.
At local level, farmer groups share best practice and governance in the form of so called ‘Nnoboa’ groups. The groups are encouraged to adapt effective leadership and management practices.
